Dr. Harold Yuen is a palliative care physician specializing in home care in the Markham/Stouffville area. He also works at the Pain and Symptom Management Clinic at the Shakir Rehmatullah Cancer Centre, Markham Stouffville Hospital. Dr. Yuen provides care at the Margaret Bahen Residential Hospice and Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket.

He graduated from Queen’s University Medical School and completed his family medicine and palliative care training at the University of Toronto. Dr. Yuen is the Medical Lead for Hospice Palliative Care Teams for Central LHIN, a LEAP facilitator, Lecturer at the University of Toronto, and a Peer Assessor at the CPSO.

Since 2016, Dr. Yuen has been providing MAiD services across York Region, both at home and in hospitals. He has been instrumental in developing MAiD programs and providing education following its legalization.
